Pocket Board does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. Everything you create stays in the app’s own storage on your device.
Pocket Board is a packing-list app that turns a few answers about your trip into a categorised checklist with sensible quantities. The pages that follow describe, in plain language, what the app does and does not do with the things you type into it.
None. There is no sign-up, no account and no login. The app never asks for an email address or a phone number. The optional display name on the Record tab is free text that is shown only to you, on your own device.
For the app to work, the following is kept in the operating system's local storage, on your phone, and nowhere else:
None of it is uploaded. Uninstalling the app removes every byte.
The app requests no runtime permissions — no camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos, calendar or notifications. The Android manifest declares the standard INTERNET permission inherited from the Flutter project template; the shipped app contains no networking code and makes no network requests.
Pocket Board is fully offline. The packing rules, the ten trip templates and every screen are bundled with the app or built on the device. There are no API calls, no remote configuration, no crash reporting and no remote logging.
No analytics, advertising, attribution, crash-reporting or measurement SDKs are integrated. The only libraries beyond Flutter itself run entirely on the device: sqflite and path (the local database), provider (in-app state), fl_chart (the two charts on the Record tab, drawn from your own data) and package_info_plus (reads the app’s own version for the About sheet). None of them contact a network service.
Pocket Board is a general-purpose packing tool and is not directed at children under 13. It collects nothing, needs no account, shows no advertising and has no social features. Where a list mentions children or infants, that is a party-size setting an adult chose for a family trip, not information about a child.
Everything is stored locally and nothing is transmitted, so you are in control at all times: edit or delete any trip and its checklist from the Trips tab, clear ticks from the checklist menu, change your display name from the Record tab. Uninstalling the app permanently deletes the database and everything in it; there is no backup, so an uninstall cannot be undone.
If anything in this policy changes, the date at the top of the page will be revised, and material changes will appear in the app's release notes.
